2018 Reflection

At the end of each year I like to reflect on the past 12 months. For this year it is kind of hard to reflect because I was all a big blur, It came and went. This year for me wasn’t grand nor boring it was just there which I am find out has been the case for a lot of people. I believe I’ve grown a lot this year and for most years I feel like I have grown also but for this year I feel like I’ve grown in a different way. I’ve gain so much knowledge about myself, and what I want out of life and what I don’t want out of life which is awesome!! This was the year of realization, learning, and putting myself out there a little more.

What I am Grateful For

Family - This year I spent more time with my family than I have ever done before. And that time spent was fun and memorable.

Health - In past years my health has always been rocky but this year I was able to do things I haven’t been able to do in a long time because my health was so unsteady. I am proud of how far I have come and I will continue to push myself.

Financial Stability - This year I didn’t make a ton of money but I didn’t waste a lot of it either. This year I learned a lot about self control when it comes to shopping and spending money. Next year I hope to expand on this and work really hard to get to my savings goals.

Knowledge - Like I said before I learned a lot about myself this year, and taught myself new skills.

Growth as a person - I can now see what is important to me in life and now that I know that I can work on making those things come to fruition.

2018 Wins

Like I said for this year I didn’t have a lot of big wins but these are some things that were wins to me:

  • Instagram Growth

  • The Courage to start my YouTube channel

  • Figuring out my Blog and YouTube focus

  • Learning how to deal with stress and not letting it affect my health.

Lessons Learned in 2018

  • Don’t Compare to others because you are unique in you own way and you should embrace that.

  • Consistency is key if you want to see something grow

  • You can be your own boss

  • Be confident in yourself and your abilities.

My Thank You Letter to 2018

Thank You 2018 for year of knowledge. Although there were no big accomplishments, this year has thought me a lot about myself. Where I want to be, and how I am going to get there. This year has been my preparation year and has gotten me ready for 2019. 2019 will be the year of accomplishments. So to 2018 Thank You for preparing me for it!! - xoxo Manique
